Canine Remedial Massage therapy is increasingly becoming popular in Australia as a complementary therapy for dogs as it can improve you pets overall well being- by reducing anxiety, improving flexibility, alleviating joint and muscle pain, enhances the immune system and offers comfort across all stages of life. At the initial visit Jude will discuss your pets current health status so he can offer you an in-depth report on his findings and recommended treatment plan for the first massage. If your pet dog has an injury or history of lameness, its recommended to provide Vet history (or referral) so he can be fully informed of their condition and adjust their treatment accordingly. Jude will tailor the therapy session to your dog’s immediate and long-term needs and will take into account all different activity levels, ages, conditions, and injuries and adjust each treatment to achieve optimum rehabilitation and well-being. Treatments may include: • remedial massage • rehabilitative strengthening exercises • myofascial pain release • trigger point therapy Our therapy sessions include gait, posture and balance assessment, as well as soft tissue analysis, to detect any irregularities that might cause discomfort or indicate an injury or condition. The initial treatment is 60 minutes in length at your home. Its preferred for the massage to be performed inside, where its temperature controlled and away from distraction (i.e noises or people traffic) All treatments are performed on a organic sanitised dog futon, for total relaxation. ** Please note- if your dog is currently unwell and has any of these following symptoms- lethargy, vomiting, loose bowels, poor appetite or has a inflamed itchy skin rash- its is not advised to book this treatment and please seek advice from your vet. Cancellation Policy- We require no less than 48 hours notice of cancellation for a refund of the booking fee to be sent.
